Philosophy of Practice

At Trinity Medical Associates we seek to provide unbiased medical care to all people.  We do not restrict or exclude any person based on gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs, or age.  We welcome all those seeking guidance and help with physical, mental, and spiritual concerns.

Our philosophy of practice is built on Christian principles.  Specifically, we believe that the Bible is the Word of God (and therefore without error).  We therefore look to it as the sufficient and utterly reliable guide for responding to every circumstance of life.  We believe that we are brought into a right relationship to our God, and find forgiveness for our offenses against God, only through complete reliance on His Son, Jesus, and through His death on our behalf.  We also believe that all human life begins at conception and ends at natural death, and is sacred, having been created in the image of God.  For these reasons, Trinity physicians and providers will not prescribe therapies or referrals that violate these principles including such things as emergency contraception (commonly known as Plan B), abortion, or assisted suicide. We would, however, welcome discussion of resources and alternatives which promote wholeness and health while addressing each individual’s specific suffering and illness.

We would also welcome the opportunity to discuss these values at your next visit and encourage you to dialogue with us if you have questions.
