Your hometown physicians
We value preserving the continuity of care between a patient and his physician. In making appointments we strive to make sure every patient can be accommodated according to his schedule while at the same time trying to keep consistent care with the same provider. We hope to balance the need for availability and continuity. For that reason we have started a walk-in clinic that is staffed by Jeff Bergquist, PA-C, Chris Borders, PA-C and Vicki Stiltner, PA-C. They provide expert care for your urgent needs while having access to your complete medical history. All of our physicians along with one of our nurse practitioners or physician assistants take turns staffing the Saturday morning walk-in clinic.
Can patients also schedule a same day sick visit appointment?
We invite you to try out the walk-in part of our clinic. We also encourage you to schedule a same-day appointment for urgent problems. Our nurse practitioners start each day with open schedules to accommodate those unexpected illnesses. Each nurse practitioner and physician assistant is directly supervised by on site physicians that will oversee every aspect of your care.
What problems can the walk-in clinic address?
The clinic is intended to treat most of your urgent needs when our office is closed or no appointments are available. Examples of some of the conditions we treat include:
- Cold and flu symptoms
- Lacerations and cuts
- Sinus problems
- Coughs and sore throats
How much will it cost?
Our clinic prices are some of the lowest in the area. The cost of each visit is determined by the services rendered with the majority of walk in visits ranging in price from $85 to $133. The more simple the medical problem the lower the cost. Most of our in-house testing such as CBC, urinalysis, strep test, flu test, RSV test, and urine pregnancy test run between $5 and $20. Please call our office if you’d like to know the specific cost of a test you might need.
Are your prices fair and equal?
We leveled the playing field so that regardless of insurance coverage everyone pays the same amount. Self pay patients who pay in full at the time of service receive the same 20% discount that insurance companies do. We feel the price is the price regardless of who is paying. That doesn’t happen anywhere else in healthcare. We want anyone coming to see us for healthcare to know that they are the most important part of our practice.
